Else Bos
After studying econometrics at the Erasmus university in Rotterdam, Else started a long career at the ABN and later ABN-AMRO bank in Amsterdam. For almost 20 years she held many different positions there, including financial accounting, planning and control, consumer banking, private banking, operations and IT, which together gave her strong insight in the running of a large banking organization.
In 2001 Else left ABN-AMRO bank to accept a senior management position at NIB capital asset management. A position as COO Investments and later CEO Investments at PGGM led her to the PGGM Board. In 2008 PGGM became a pension service provider and the pension fund took a new name PFZW. Else continued her role on the board of PGGM in different positions, and became the CEO in the beginning of 2013.
Else has several positions on supervisory boards, and she is also a member the Dutch Monitoring Committee for Corporate Governance. She is a member of the board of ICPM (Rothman International Center for Pension Management), was a member of the board of United Nations PRI (from 2008 – March 2015), and since November 2015 has been a member Board of the Pension Pacific Institute (PPI).
