Shanelle Haile

Shanelle Haile, PhD, has 15 years of experience in the social impact sector, with a background spanning roles at McKinsey & Company, the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and the U.S. Agency for International Development.
Shanelle joins FCLT Global as a research fellow on secondment from McKinsey & Company, where she works with clients in the social and public sectors. Prior to McKinsey, she served as a research editor for the Harvard Kennedy School’s Women and Public Policy Program, translating and messaging empirical research on gender equity, while earning her doctoral degree in sociology at Brown University. Shanelle also has eight years of experience in the public sector, where she managed programs in economically vulnerable communities.
She currently serves on the board of directors for Brown University and the Cultural Equity Lab. Shanelle resides in Providence, Rhode Island, with her husband and two children. She is a graduate of Brown University, Vanderbilt University, and Spelman College.
