“I have admired the work of FCLTGlobal for some years now – we have worked with Sarah Williamson and her brilliant team to raise awareness around how finance works in concert with industry for long term value creation. The board of FCLTGlobal is an impressive group – I am deeply honored to have this opportunity to work with them more closely to deliver FCLTGlobal’s mission as a member of the board,” said Looney.
“As a generational investor, Temasek is committed to delivering sustainable returns over the long term. Our goals are very aligned with FCLTGlobal’s vision to see to the sustainable viability of our economy, people and planet. Together with Sarah and her team, I believe that we can help to advocate awareness and accelerate action by bringing together likeminded partners and FCLTGlobal members, so every generation prospers.” added Dilhan.
Alongside the two appointments, Chow Kiat Lim came to the end of his second term on FCLTGlobal’s board on 31 August 2022. Lim, CEO of GIC, was a board director since FCLTGlobal’s founding in 2016. He will remain involved with FCLTGlobal as a Strategic Advisor.
“As one of its earliest members, GIC and FCLTGlobal have always shared a common goal of advancing long-termism in business and investment decision-making. In today’s uncertain investment environment, adopting a long-term approach has become especially vital to promoting innovation, boosting economic growth and creating sustainable, long-term value for markets and society overall. As FCLTGlobal’s outgoing board director, it’s been my privilege to contribute to this mission and to play a part in growing FCLTGlobal’s global membership base. I look forward to our continued partnership for years to come,” said Lim.
“Chow Kiat has been instrumental in FCLTGlobal’s growth as an organization and in our success in pursuing our mission, particularly his role in expanding our membership among top companies and investors around the world. We’re deeply grateful for his stewardship and his leadership by example, and we look forward to continuing our strong partnership with GIC in the years ahead,” said Williamson.
