Geraldine Matchett

Geraldine Matchett was Co-Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Managing Board member of Royal DSM, the global science based company active in Health, Nutrition and Materials, since August 1st, 2014. Royal DSM is a publically listed company on the AEX Dutch stock exchange, with revenues above €10 billion and approximately 25,000 employees, including associated companies.

Prior to this role, Geraldine Matchett was group Chief Financial Officer and member of the Operations Council of the SGS Group, a publicly quoted company on the SIX Swiss stock exchange and the world leading company in Inspection, Verification, Testing and Certification services with over 80,000 employees worldwide and annual revenues of approximately CHF 6 billion.

Geraldine has three nationalities (Swiss, British and French) and completed her graduate studies in Geography as well as a masters in Sustainable Development at Cambridge University. She is a Chartered Accountant and previously worked in London for KPMG and in Switzerland for Deloitte, handling clients mainly in the food, pharma and chemical sectors.

In addition to her executive role of DSM, Geraldine is also Non-Executive Director of ABB, a leader in digitally connected and enabled industrial equipment and systems, with over 130,000 employees worldwide and annual revenues of over USD 34 billion.
